HCl source for hypochlorhydria. Used for protein digestion, B12 absorption, and low stomach acid.

Mechanism of action

Catalyses hydrolysis of specific food macromolecules (proteins, carbohydrates, fats, or plant cell wall components) facilitating nutrient absorption. Reduces GI symptoms of malabsorption including bloating, flatulence, and loose stools.
