Contraindications & warnings

Wilson disease: ABSOLUTELY CONTRAINDICATED. Copper excess: hepatotoxicity, haemolytic anaemia. UL: 10mg/day adults. Zinc-copper antagonism: high-dose zinc supplements (>40mg/day) deplete copper — supplementation needed. Symptom of deficiency: anaemia, neutropenia, neurological problems.
